We have a mixed 50 hen laying flock that produces between 10 and 20 dozen eggs a week depending on the time of year. Pastured chickens tend to lay fewer eggs during the winter than during the summer. We do not use lighting or any other artificial means to force the chickens to lay more eggs in the winter.
We currently have an waiting list for eggs. If you are interested in local, pastured eggs, please contact us, and we can help you find a supplier.
Our hens are free range and flock with roosters, so our eggs may be fertilized. Our hens receive no hormones or antibiotics of any kind. We supplement their feed with a locally produced, non-GMO laying ration from Kraut Creek Natural Feed Co.
